1. 研究目的与意义

With the rapid development of globalization and science and technology, international academic exchanges are becoming more and more frequent, and English is still the universal language for researchers all over the world. However, in China, the majority of medical learners and those majoring in traditional Chinese medicine are still weak in mastering professional English due to various objective constraints. Therefore, it is difficult to meet their needs in study, work and academic exchanges. At the same time, in order to exchange information among international colleagues, all kinds of medical academic journals sponsored by our country are required to write abstracts in English, which, of course, is also the requirement of UNESCO. In order to cultivate students' scientific research ability in an all-round way, medical colleges and universities also require English abstracts to be included in their master's degree theses.

2. 文献综述

Nowadays, in the period of rapid development of medical department, a large number of new viewpoints and works are published every day in the medical field. Papers play a very important role in academic exchanges and dissemination. Of course, medical master's theses are listed among them. Although an abstract is short, it is a complete text. It has a specific line of writing thought, layout and communicative purposes. It is a highly concentrated expression of the important information of the paper, the enrichment and essence of the paper, and the important window for the writer to introduce his research results to readers. (Cohen-Vida, 2012) At present, most medical papers use structured abstracts as the format of English abstracts. In the 21st century, the number of academic journals has increased dramatically, and the Internet has been widely used in document retrieval. (Zhao Guihua, 1996) Structured abstracts are therefore highly regarded. The structured abstract was initiated and proposed by Dr. R. Brian Haynes, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University, Canada, and Huth, Editor-in-Chief of Ann Intern Med. Today, structured abstracts are widely adopted by international biomedical journals, and China is no exception. (Zhao Yuqin, 2011). In order to accurately, effectively and quickly write English abstracts to help professional technicians and researchers complete high-quality English abstract writing, some scholars began to study English abstracts. As early as 2004, Li Chaopin (2009) wrote The English Abstract Writing of Medical Papers. This paper comprehensively expounds the writing methods of English abstracts of medical scientific papers and introduces the writing characteristics of English abstracts from the aspects of tense, voice, sentence pattern, key points, format and skills through a large number of examples. Xu Keqi (2006) based on her time work experience in editing English abstracts of medical papers, summed up and summarized the problems, methods and strategies that should be paid attention to when translating abstracts of medical papers, focusing on the writing format and articles of English abstracts of medical papers. The title is commonly used in writing and translation of long sentences. Fan Xiaohui (2005) compares the English abstracts of 200 papers in English and American biomedical journals and finds that although the passive voices appear in the same frequency in the English abstract part of Chinese journals, the domestic authors have the problem of passive voice abuse, pointing out that China's medical writing It should be in line with international practice.
