3. 国内外研究现状
There is little study about Munro before2000, as her books become more and more popular in China, researchers start topay attention to her. Most of them focus on her writing styles, background andfeminism. Many people think that Munro is a feminist and her writings show usthe emergence of female consciousness (Yang, 2018;Liu,2015). However, womenaffiliate to family and man also exist in her works, Munro herself doesn’tthink she is a feminist, at least not extreme one( Munro,2012). Although Munro encouragewomen to fight against, because of weakness in finance and emotion, their fightsalways end up with failure. Women still live under patriarchy, man issupporting polar of family, women need to depend on their husband (Munro, 2004;Yang Fan, 2018; Nan Fan, liu Xiaoxinamp;Lian Shusheng,2008). In Dear Life, men play important roles insociety, women be proud of husbands’ social status and addicted to thehappiness that position brings to them (Munro, 2014; Lin Yuzhen, 2015). Familyalways play important role in women’s life. Munro (2017) herself has said thatshe was struggling between being a mother or writer. Women take familyrelationship as final comfort, without family, one can hardly find out meaningof life, Munro upholds relationship bases on love, and family bases on mutualrespects and responsibility(Xia Xuying, Wu Mengying, Zhang Li amp; DingYanwen, 2017). In her works, many women restrain themselves in narrow space, they are busy with daily staffs, they advocate the idea that family iseverything for them(Liu Feiran, 2016). Munro always tend to write differentwomen in same book, some of them are conventional, others are brave, but, theyall be emotion-oriented.
Foreign scholars think that Alice Munrois a great female writer, her works, to some extent, is the reflection of ownlife (Thacker , 2007). In relationship, women always locate them on inferiorposition (Eva-Sabine Zehelein, 2014). Their happiness depends on patriarchy, they have to be submissive, diligent, tolerant and sacrificial (Jack, 2006).Women are living in the world which shaped by men’s thoughts, in it, women obeyexactly to men (Simona, 1998). Maybe, to some extent, women still affiliate tomen, but, they can definitely make live without them. Women are like explorers, they try their best to seek true love, no matter how dangerous and difficultthe journey is (Aduniuk, 2016). Women are not losers, on the contrary, they arebrave, fearless when they decide to pursue affection, however, the featurealways be a big obstacle in women’ liberation. They can hardly be indifferentand hardhearted when involve in relationships, they usually get regretful ifthey pay less attention to families (Munro, 2014).
No matter in China or in foreign countries, peopletend to attribute women’s situation in Munro’s works to men, or traditionalfamily ideology. They ignore that women has independent thoughts and they arenot machine. So, the paper bases on existing materials and ideas, analyze Munro’swork in a new perspective.4. 计划与进度安排
