1. 研究目的与意义
As a city with a long history of cultural tourism, Nanjing attracts more and more foreign tourists. However, the errors of English signs or tour guide words in popular scenic spots, such as spelling errors, grammatical errors, Chinese-style English, inappropriate wording, language burden, cultural misunderstanding, etc. are frequently made, so the translation quality needs to be improved urgently. At the same time, with the development of smart city construction and the further upgrading of tourism informatization, tourists have also put forward higher demands for complete translation services, and smart tourism has increasingly become a new trend in the transformation and development of tourism. Through the application of tourism translation corpus, this study aims to build a tourism translation application system close to users'' needs, improve the translation quality of scenic spots efficiently and promote the construction of 'smart tourism'.

3. 国内外研究现状
Up to now, there are not many corpora at home and abroad that specifically include travel translated texts. In 2005, the Saonlina Institute of Translation and Interpretation in Finland created 670,000 words of English. In 2006, The University of Japan established the Kyoto Tourism Corpus 'Library', which contains the introduction text of Kyoto tourism in English; In 2007, the UK The University of Sex has established an English Travel Text Corpus. With the further development of corpus research, the application of corpus to tourism English.
There are more and more comparative studies on physical aspects, such as: In 2010, Li Deshao of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Wang Ke of Beijing Foreign Studies University. He is not the author of the paper 'New Bilingual Travel Corpus' published in Foreign Languages now. 'Development and Application', which analyzes the corpus of tourism translation at home and abroad. After the advantages and disadvantages, a new bilingual travel corpus is introduced.
With the development of the Internet, there have been special websites and web pages in China. A study on the Translation of Corpus into English for Tourism. In 2012, Corning published the Analog-based Corpus based English Tour for Chinese websites Language Analysis of Travel Texts, based on the self-built English Travel Texts Analogical Corpus.
