3. 国内外研究现状

William Shakespeare, an outstanding writer, dramatist and poet in the English Renaissance, occupies a lofty and insurmountable status in the history of British literature. Tang Jingchun said that Shakespeare is like a giant standing on top of the mountain of literature, bringing endless joy and spiritual enjoyment to the world. His works are filled with humanism, against feudal autocracy and oppression and its dehumanization and imprisonment of human nature, advocating the liberation of reason and humanity, which sent anti-Geocentric feuds to the feudal churches and society, glorifying human glory. Therefore, we can not neglect to dig out the humanistic feelings and glories when we appreciate the beautiful language of Shakespeare''s works and the twists and turns in the stories that make people laugh and tear. Zhu Da and Zhu Wenzhen said that it is possible to understand clearly and comprehensively the humanism in Shakespeare#8217;s works if we combine changes of class structure and main social trends in British renaissance society with Shakespeare ''s own class affiliation and his experience in real life. As a whole, the Renaissance humanism thought opposed the shackles of the old feudal religion with certain ideals, and Shakespeare''s works also mainly reflected the ideological trends of his time.Goran Stanivukovic said in his work that Shakespeare showed humanism#8217;s negative effects, and call this self-reflective critique humanism#8217;s dark side. In Shakespeare#8217;s plays, he announces that humanism is under pressure, not merely upheld.Approached from its dark side, humanism looks like a place in which tyranny, greed, crime, and imperialism intersect with idealism, glitter, and moral discipline. But there is another aspect to the utopia side of humanism. Robin Headlam Wells examines Shakespeare as a man of the Renaissance who shared its view that there was a #8216;universal human nature#8217;.He examines Shakespeare#8217;s place in the history of English humanism and then turns to specific topics, such as gender, value pluralism, social justice and civilization. In the European Renaissance, Shakespeare was a sober realist. He attacked feudal and religious worldviews with humanistic ideological weapons, not only making public opinion directly for the bourgeoisie, but also played a progressive role in history in keeping with the interests of the broad masses of people.
